Let's try 40 shall we? I know he's born in the year of the snake 12 years before my year of the snake (they only come every 12 years), which would put his arrival in 1953. Oh well, I guess famous people can get away with youthing instead of aging. Maybe he's just trying to minimize the age difference between him and Cynthia? Just had to comment on that one. Nancy p.s. I did appreciate the typing in of the interviews! So, if what I read then was accurate, and it seems to me that I've run across a later article about him that corroborated the info, then he's 39, give or take a few months. -stuart@apollo.hp.com From chuck@ssc.space.umn.edu Thu May 13 15:52:25 1993 Received: from mail.unet.umn.edu by wookumz.gnu.ai.mit.edu (5.65/4.0) with SMTP id ; Thu, 13 May 93 15:52:25 -0400 Received: from boombox.micro.umn.edu by mail.unet.umn.edu (5.65c) id AA09377; Thu, 13 May 1993 14:52:23 -0500 Date: Thu, 13 May 93 14:53:23 CDT Message-Id: <9305131953.AA26813@boombox.micro.umn.edu> Received: from ShepLabs08.space.umn.edu by boombox.micro.umn.edu; Thu, 13 May 93 14:53:23 CDT From: "Chuck Tomlinson" Reply-To: "Chuck Tomlinson" To: fegmaniax@gnu.ai.mit.edu Subject: Age The interviews posted of late have been from either '86 or '88. Thought this might be of interest... While thumbing through the local campus radio station's (KALX) spring program guide there is someone's blurb on their spring trip to this years SxSW conference in Austin. Listing their highlights, they listed "...A spoken word performance of 20 people (including fine performances by Exene Cervenka and Robyn Hitchcock) playing characters and making clever turns of phrase". And in his KUSF interview of 2 weeks ago, he mentions that at that same station a couple of years back he and Linda Ryan produced a little radio play. Has anyone heard these or anything else like this he may have done? Is there anything he hasn't done - music, short stories, paintings, cartoons, videos, and now plays? Someone should put him in a film....
