It was nice to see them up-close and personal on the small stage. Last year the whole band performed on the main stage when it was literally 100 degrees outside. Today was MUCH nicer weather-wise. I got to the show early and introduced two of my daughters (age 3 and 5) to Robbie and Mike. We hadn't purchased Robbie's kids CD yet so we've been jamming to Mike solo CD in the car for weeks. My daughters favorite song by far is "I.S.O." (which they call D.W.M.). It's not exactly a kids song, but they can't get enough of it. I made a passing comment to Mike that my girls might be chanting "I'm 113733644692" (which is a lyric in the song). After Robbie's great set, Mike came on. Much to my surprise, he started to introduce I.S.O. by mentioning my daughters by name and joked about how he couldn't believe that their parents let them listen to that song :). My girls ran up to the stage to dance and then he teased that he changed his mind and wasn't going to play the song - they didn't fall for it. He played the song and of course they danced their hearts out. Anyway, there's a reason for that long story. Unfortunately my camcorder's battery died before Mike's set even started. But there were two people sitting in front of us who were recording the whole set. If either of you are on this email list, or anyone knows them, can you shoot me an email at jaysullivan@cox.net? I'd be happy to send you a recordable DVD or VHS tape along with a nominal convenience fee if there's any chance I could get the video of that song! Thanks!
