It was fabulous, of course. They pulled out a few of oldies but goodies like the "Simile Song" and "Observation" and of course "3 Fine Daughters," one of my favorites "20,000 Hearts" and a very heart stirring "Baltimore" which seemed to choke Julie up a little. The words to this were very close to home for her I think. This song actually gave me chills when she was singing. Also, "This Is Me" The words were eerily appropriate for the war she's fighting with cancer. "This is me, before the war. I don't look much like that, anymore." Julie looked and sounded wonderful. She wore a long, ash-blonde wig and a cap for the first set. For those who may not know, she chose to shave her head, instead of waiting for it to fall out strand by strand. What an incredible and brave decision to make. When the band returned for the 2nd set, Robbie was wearing the wig and Julie was only wearing her cap. He sang the first song of the set (and I can't remember which song it was) wearing the wig. It was too hysterical. He was a dead ringer for "Garth" from Wayne's World with the long hair and the glasses. And of course, the rest of the band had their fun with that making jokes and carrying on about how Robbie went wig shopping with Julie and convinced her to by that wig just so he could wear it onstage at a show. There was also talk about Karaoke on the Edhead Cruise about how Julie and Robbie did the Streisand/Kristofferson duet "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" which they sang the first 2 verses of. Too funny. It was so fantastic to see them onstage together again and to see Julie still belting it out. Mike is also getting ready to release his solo CD. Copies were for sale at the "EFO Gift Emporium." Best wishes to the band, especially Julie, for the New Year. Keep up the fight!! Merry Christmas, Happy Haunakkah, Kwanza everybody!!!
