You're judging the video as a music video and ignoring 2 important facts: 1) that it is intended to be fodder for a reality show about golf and, more importantly, 2) the target audience is not "edheads" (not even folk music lovers) but middle American golf hackers with a Walter Mitty mindset. This is, of course, just my opinion, but I think it does the job it was designed to do very nicely and both of you are entitled to your opinions. BTW, thank God or whoever that no major label DID get their hands on efo or they wouldn't be the terrific group that we all know and love - hell - - they would've broken up a long time ago what with the unjust pressures that major labels put on their artists. "The Beatles, well, they just broke up." I was sorry not to see more of the three boys. They're lots of fun to watch on stage, for sure. sgc - ----- Original Message ----- From: Bertram Tunnell Date: Thursday, May 12, 2005 11:57 pm Subject: Re: "Drive" Video Clip > I hate to ask this, I really do...as I know the can of worms this > opens up. > > However, I have to ask. A small, very nice venue, in Groton, MA, (a refurbished, big ole post 'n beam barn) with efo being the debut! Had a table right up front, and could see Julie very well, but Robbie's my favorite. Well, except for Mike. Actually, Eddie looked pretty good too. And Julie looked comfortable and relaxed. It was a great setlist, which of course I can't remember, but it was a good selection - the only thing missing was no drum solo! Mike kept referring to the angus cows that you could see out the windows, and toll booth operators, and pilgrim hats, and damn yankees. It was a great night.... dave - -----Original Message----- From: owner-edheads@efohio.com [mailto:owner-edheads@efohio.com]On Behalf Of ext Susan G.
