Hey Edheads - I know that info is posted on eddiefromohio.com, but since it is a little hard to find and scroll through I thought I post it here. Bubbas Buddies is back! For the third year in a row, Julie and Greg are gearing up to lead their team on the Walk to Cure Diabetes, to be held on May 7, 2005 in Washington DC. For those of you that don't know, Julie's youngest son Corey (aka Bubba) was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes when he was just 15 months old (he is three now). Bubba's Buddies is a team made of of family, friends and EDHEADS, that are committed to finding a cure by raising money and walking to show our support for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and all those afflicted with Type 1 Diabetes. Last year we raised over $24,000 (with a lot of help from the Edhead community) and our goal this year is $30,000. Click on the link below to find out all the details on how you can make a tax-deductible donation and/or join the team. Your help is greatly appreciated! http://walk.jdrf.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=extranet.personalpage&confirmid=86024539 (if you have any questions you can contact me via email at jenstudt@hotmail.com) Thanks, Jen ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 19 Apr 2005 20:24:01 -0400 From: rhiannon richard Subject: NY Hey edheads. So, I was just reading the most recent tour diary from robbie. In it he mentions syracuse, ny as being one of the places that he can't understand why people move. I've always wondered the same myself. I mean, why would people want to live in that much SNOW?! But it seems that i'm moving to Rochester, NY in august. So my question is... how many edheads are in that area? If i'm going to be that freakin' cold, i might as well meet some cool efo fans at shows!!!!! - -rhiannon (it was 77 here in asheville, nc today...but 80 in rochester. so it can't be all bad) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 19 Apr 2005 22:01:09 -0400 From: nichole Subject: Re: NY I'm from Rochester.
