Didn't they do 'Moons' at the unplugged show on the last cruise?? Or am I confusing it with Cruise II??? I feel they did it at one of them.... ~Shells~, who also -loves- that song but has heard it live *ducks* - -----Original Message----- From: johnathan vienneau [mailto:johnveno@yahoo.com] Sent: Wednesday, March 09, 2005 10:50 AM To: edheads@efohio.com Subject: Re: Maylee, I had a Dream > But what I also remember about that show is that > they > didn't play _my_ request! I'll be flying solo (something about people having to get up early on Friday. don't want to drive 2 hours to Pittsburgh.), so stop by the soundboard and say hi - I'll be recording the show there. From what I've heard, the Rex is a pretty cool venue, but it is new to me and new to EFO. I _WAS_ taping the show the first time EFO ever played Maylee. It was at South Main Cafe and they had apparently written the show in the RV on the way up from another gig and practiced it in the back parking lot (there's a reference to this in the show linked below.) Unfortunately, I was a taping newbie at the time and I managed to botch the whole show. :( I am proud to say that I caught the first ever playing of Number Six Driver and another song (that never quite made it into any EFO routines) called Grannie's Teeth during a Robbie Solo show. http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=14624 On Wed, 9 Mar 2005, David Turley wrote: >On Mar 9, 2005, at 10:37 AM, Heather Van Aelst wrote: > >> I know Maylee's been done live if you go far enough >> back - > > >Here's one: > >Date: February 12th, 1999 >Venue: South Main Cafe >Location: Blacksburg, VA > >http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=14349 > - ------------------------------------ Seth Hornstein seth@astro.ucla.edu http://www.astro.ucla.edu/~seth UCLA Department of Physics & Astronomy __o _o /\o_ _ \<,_ //\_ ^^^^^^^^ (_)/ (_) _/\ / ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 09 Mar 2005 13:06:14 -0500 From: chris.omalley@verizon.net Subject: unsubscribe unsubscribe ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 09 Mar 2005 16:05:20 -0500 From: "Richard Payne" Subject: unsubcribe unsubcribe _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! This is the general rule for most mailing lists when you need to contact a human. Here's the general information for the list you've subscribed to, in case you don't already have it: [Last updated on: Thu Oct 15 17:31:58 1998] The edheads mailing list is for the discussion of all trading, traveling, and entertaining information about the band Eddie From Ohio. This includes pyrotechnics, special rigging, practical props, chemical effects, weather effects, special lighting, tourdates of other great bands, road trips, web pages and similar items. The mailing list is for discussion of all aspects of EFO, tape trading, road trips, bootlegging, etc. Any commercial posts are off topic unless they come from EFO directly. To post to the mailing list, send to: edheads@efohio.com Your message will automatically be redistributed to the whole list. To subscribe, unsubscribe, or otherwise interact with the automatic list processing software, send to: edheads-request@efohio.com If you don't know what commands you can use, send a message with just the word "help" in the body and you will be emailed the instructions. The most commonly useful commands are: "unsubscribe" - remove yourself from the mailing list "subscribe" - add yourself to the mailing list "info" - request another copy of this info file "help" - get detailed instructions on all commands Commands have to be in the body of your email message. What you put in the Subject doesn't matter. If you're moving to another email account and want to change your edheads subscription, it's a two step process. You need to subscribe from your new account, and unsubscribe from your old account. Please don't forget to do this! If you let an account get closed while you're still subscribed to the mailing list, mail starts bouncing and the list administrator (that's me) has to deal with it. To contact a human regarding the administration of this mailing list, troubles with the list software, questions about list policy, etc.: owner-edheads@efohio.com IMPORTANT: Don't send administrivia (subscribe/unsubscribe, questions about the list server, etc.) to edheads@efohio.com! - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- o The edheads list is open to anyone interested in Eddie From Ohio. There are no special requirements for subscribing to or participating in this mailing list. o The list is not moderated. Each posting is the responsibility of the author of that posting, and is sent out to the list automatically. Information distributed by this mailing list is not confirmed or endorsed by anyone other than the author of each message. o Advertisements and announcements not related to EFO or folk music are banned. If you are not certain if a particular ad should be posted, forward it to owner-edheads@efohio.com for approval and it will more than likely be distributed o Abusive posts are not permitted and could put you under the lifeguard stand. (Even if you're old and have kids :) o Anyone who is subscribed to the edheads mailing list can get a list of the addresses of other subscribers. However, outsiders cannot. o You must post from your subscribed Email address. When you subscribe to the list, your return address is recorded automatically as listed at the start of this welcome message. If your return address changes even slightly, your posts will not be forwarded to the list. o This is a TEXT based list. File attachments, binary data, HTML, and other non-text postings will not get through. Sometimes, you may be sending non-text email without realizing this. Microsoft email products, for example, are notorious for this. If your posts result in bounce messages that complain about "taboo header", etc., check your mailer configuration or ask your technical support for help. o Very large messages will also not get through. This is to protect us, not to limit us. If messages that look reasonable are longer than the size limit, I will change the size limit to accomodate them. o For various reasons, many Email boxes on the Internet become unreachable from time to time. Filled mailboxes and unresolvable routes are the most common causes. You may be unsubscribed from the list without notice if your Email can not be delivered. You are welcome to resubscribe when the problem has been corrected. o Any changes to list administration will be posted to the list.
