My mail to the list yesterday had a review of the Triple Door. It's a great room, tho in jeans and a tshirt you may feel under dressed. You shouldn't because seattle is tres casual, but you might. Basically, imagine a 30's bandstand in modern poured concrete styling. Food is good too, and whatever I drank was really good. Yes, I'll be at the show and having flown from Seattle to Charlotte to see them play, I can believe travelling at least 2288 miles :) - -----Original Message----- From: owner-edheads@efohio.com [mailto:owner-edheads@efohio.com] On Behalf Of Jason Triolo Sent: Wednesday, February 23, 2005 6:21 PM To: edheads@efohio.com Subject: Can life get any better? I had already planned my annual venture to Vancouver, BC for May 21-31. That in itself is great--that whole region has to be the most fascinating place on the face of the Earth. To add to the excitement, my new girlfriend will be joining me on this year's trip, and I'll be able to share the place with her. To top it all off, I see a Seattle date for EFO, and it's during the time I'll be out there, a mere 2 1/2 hours away. And she's also becoming an EFO fan. Can things possibly get any better than this? So if there are any Pacific NW-area Edheads planning on going to the Seattle show, make yourselves known. Also, if anyone has any reviews of the venue, those are appreciated, too. Can I just say that I'm travelling 2600 miles to see them play? Would anyone believe it? Didn't think so. :) See ya in Starbucks City! Ben and I are expecting our first child with an estimated due date of July 27. (I'm 18 weeks today!) I'm feeling left out with all the discussion, but we'll be back next year and every year. Jess really liked the Triple Door; apparently a very friendly, laid-back place with a chic vibe. (As opposed to the Tractor Tavern, which I didn't like much: too many drunkards and poor space layout.) Eeen-teresting. If they're vising Seattle, then this is looking more and more like a full-blown tour. Maybe they'll preceed their triumphant return to the Freight with a Central Valley appearance--The Palms, in Winters? The Crest, in Sac-town? Hmm. > Can I just say that I'm travelling 2600 miles to see them play? Would > anyone believe it? Didn't think so. :) What, in THIS crowd? You'd be surprised. :) - --n ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V8 #3 ***************************
