That is the problem I have with the new CD. Eddie on the bongos/congas is very rare and the main reason that this my least favorite of all of their discs. I can't even imagine them playing a show without bongos/congas at all. I mean, I like their stuff that has Eddie on the drums, but a whole show without any bongos/congas would be disappointing. To me, that just leaves too much of what their "sound" is. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Nov 2004 19:33:37 -0500 From: "steveandbarbfuller" Subject: RE: Live at the World Cafe I wonder if this is a new trend. My wife and I saw them in New Hampshire two weeks ago and Eddie didn't have his bongos. I thought it was due to the size stage. Perhaps with the other guys going electric, he's decided to drop the bongos. Steve Fuller ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V7 #171 *****************************
