Have they played it live before? Any comments from Mike on where that one came from? We heard it in Asheville, NC. Mike was going on about being a frequent traveler to London - it almost sounded like he has a long distance relationship with someone in the UK - that is speculation on my part. Anyway, he was going on about how he was trying to read a map in London and he told his lady friend "just move your fanny on over here, missy" and he then found out that "fanny" in the UK is slang for a woman's privates. He said he got into a little bit of trouble over that one. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 21 Oct 2004 08:31:36 -0700 (PDT) From: Christine Pemberton Subject: Dade City Festival Is anyone else going to the Dade City Festival show(s)? Actually, I was the one that presented Julie with that pair of pink Steven Kellogg thongs. I bought them for her during break, and handed them off to her. She was even nice enough to thank me for them on stage. "Thanks Walleye" is what she said. I was more than happy to oblige. -Walleye _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!? I'm not sure there's a line that doesn't contain a pun. lol Pam (counting down to Oct 29th and EFO at The Egg!) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 21 Oct 2004 10:14:55 -0400 From: Will Foy Subject: Re: my four cents Fifty pounds was not performed at wolf trap, and it was performed at the recent Cat's Cradle show... sitting on my laptop hard drive, waiting for me to have some time to process it and upload it to archive.org. Homonyms are words that sound the same but have different meanings, so they a great basis for puns, along with near-homonyms. Triolo" Subject: Re: Dade City Festival [demime could not interpret encoding binary - treating as plain text] I'll be there, but I can only make the Saturday night show because of my work schedule. If I can make a miracle happen, I'll get there for the earlier show too. Ticket prices are pretty steep (at least considering I'm only interested in seeing EFO), but having gone almost 8 years between shows, it will be worth it. We can try to get a group together and arrange a place to meet. But I don't expect to get there any earlier than 5pm--I'll be coming there straight from work (In Lutz, less than 30 minutes from the Fest). So that makes two so far for Dade City.
