But, he does on "In the Flesh" so I do have that option. Agreed. There's just something about letting Robbie sing his own songs. And I don't like the way Julie pronounces vowels in words such as "half" and "now" in this version. But that's just me being picky. ~Lena ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 20 Oct 2004 15:33:30 -0400 From: rhiannon richard Subject: RE: And the new website ... I use mozilla firefox instead of IE or netscape, and i get no popups to speak of. unless you mean the popups that the efo site has for extra information. but, on the downside, i find myself having to redownload plugins sometimes to get certain programs to work. but since it came up, i thought i'd mention mozilla firefox as a cool browser that i much prefer over IE. I've only used IE maybe twice since i got the new browser, and when i do i remember how much i hated it. I didn't realize there was a new site until I heard people talking about it today. It looks good, though it is still a little flash intensive. I haven't checked out the HTML site yet. but, for the most part things seem to work well, and it is definitely pretty and flashy. - -rhiannon At 03:04 PM 10/20/2004 -0400, you wrote: >You're not crazy. The only real complaint I have - if you can call it that - is regarding the song "Horse." In the chorus, when they sing, "Run from that stable now, from that horseback riding girl," I feel like the word should be "gal" instead. I automatically sing it that way - always have. Does anyone else feel this way? Ah well. I hope everyone enjoyed the Birchmere show. Wish I could've been there! ~Meg __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! There is a link for the "HTML version" on the bottom right - but it's not working for me - is it working for anyone else? The Flash side is kind of fun (and pretty :) ) - same content, but I feel like I'm on a treasure hunt trying to find things. It's a nice distraction from work. ;-) - -- Joni On Wed, 20 Oct 2004 15:04:09 -0400, "F. Tarek Rogers" said: > You're not crazy. AOL uses servers to cache pages and they only refresh every 24 hours or so. you must have hit a server that saw the "old" site and when you requested it, instead of getting a fresh copy of the page it gave you the old one. i ran into this problem when i was designing a site for an AOL user - when i launched the site, she didnt believe me because the server she was on would only stubbonrly give her the old one. very annoying. anyway. i LOVE the new CD. several songs are already on constant reply in my head. the production works and there are a number of classics in there. rock on! amy p. I asked that question - specifically how they went from a serious song to a thong. They seemed to have fun, it was like the session on the cruise. I liked Nicole being told she was "way too smart" by Robbie, and Eddie go embarassed on the last question when he was asked if he wanted to make out, by a lady named Trish. Mike said they could get him past first base by having him do his solo right then, and when they came back afterwards, said "Trish is a man" with an Austin Powers voice. Robbie was enthusiastic about the Sox, even got the score out a couple times (and it was another nailbiter into the ninth, but that's another story). Mike lamented about the lack of bass in several songs. Julie called "Baltimore" her favorite song ever; later Mike said "Lady Freedom" was her second favorite.
