One of the best guests ever for Beatlefest, he's always a joy to have. He released an album of Beatles songs on solo acoustic guitar among other things, and it's just great. One of the few guests whose presence never gets old. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ron Rosen" To: Sent: Monday, September 13, 2004 9:31 PM Subject: McCabe's!! > Other good upcoming shows at McCabes. One > of the few guests whose presence never gets old. Lawrence always includes at least a couple Beatles songs in his show. He did Strawberry Fields and While My Guitar Gently Weeps the other night. He also did McCartney's Live and Let Die, which has so many moods in it. Other covers he did Friday were Little Wing by Hendrix and The Pink Panter by Mancini. He is married to Hope Schwartz, daughter of Sherwood Schwartz who produced the Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island and many other TV shows. The story of how Hope met Lawrence in NY had something to do with Ringo Starr. It's recounted on her website which is linked at Lawrence's website. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 Sep 2004 12:58:58 -0400 From: "Benjamin C.
