I did remember to listen to "Fishbowl" yesterday. It had been a while since I had listened to the studio versions of those songs (archive.org is too much fun), and I was struck by the guest musicians, particularly on "Old Dominion". Anyone know if they've ever done it live with those guys (Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Bela Fleck, and Tony Rice)? No one's mentioned it, so I will: caught Eddie and Robbie in unusual ways last week. Eddie's new band, Brother Shamus, made their debut last week at Whitlow's, and it was fun. I was kinda startled to see two drummers when I walked in - who ever thought a band with Eddie would need a second? And he was on the kit, as well. They've got a sax player, Walter, who's very talented. Robbie was at Wolf Trap Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods playing to a lerge audience of kids and chaperones. He played classic children's songs (like "If You're Happy And You Know It" and "Puff, The Magic Dragon"), and I think a couple of his own invention ("Professor Schnoodle" and "Sally Can I Walk You Home"). Kerry BTW, any other DC Edheads going to see Paul & Storm (from DVN) with We're About 9 at Iota tonight? Stuart Jewell wrote: > Can you believe it. What type of music do they do? Any EfO, originals, covers, etc.? Do you know if it's a one off type of thing, or will it be on-going? Sounds cool. I'd call the music folkie with a Dave Matthews Band touch. The singer was decent, and wrote all the originals. I believe it's an ongoing thing, but obviously will have to work around efo's schedule.
