However, I just recently received an EFO show in which DVN opened for them and have fallen in love with My Enormous P*nis (hmm, that didn't quite sound right) and Kingdom in the Sky. Of their three albums, what would yall recommend for a newbie? However, nothing beats a live show. Does DVN allow taping at their shows? If so, does anybody have any live shows from Davinci's Notebook? Please contact me offline if you are interested in trading for EFO shows (or B&P). Got to finally see them outside of Falcon Ridge when they played at the Lancaster Coffee house (in picturesque New England - quite a nice venue indeed). They have lot's of great material to listen to, but if you like the inuendo side best then go with Brontosaurus. For my part I prefer somewhat tamer side and fabulous style parodies in "The Life and Times of Mike Fanning" - Meatloaf, Dylan, Blues and of course boy bands. "Bendy's Law" thier first has some nice covers and originals, but I'd round out my collection with that. Gotta love "Fish Sticks" though - never thought anyone would write a song about Fish Sticks, or pickeled ocra for that matter ... Paul S. - if you're out there - you all rocked at the Lancaster Coffee House - I still have my Black Hat and wear it proudly !! - - dave Seth Hornstein wrote: I've heard them discussed from time-to-time here on the board but have never quite jumped on the DVN bandwagon (plus its kind of hard to see them out here in California...)
