Thanx to Eddie From Ohio for a great show!!! They did NOT disappoint for my first EFO show. Just what I was hoping for. Thanx to Jeff & Pete Angwin and Nicole for making me welcome amongst the EFO devotees amongst the crowd. Thanx to Bob, uber--soundboard guy!!! Listening to my recording (archive.org submission coming soon), the mix was phenomenal. Looking forward to the Santa Cruz show on Friday. I'd like to request the "Schoolhouse Rock" medley but I don't know if that's something they do nowadays. I'll mention it on friday before the show. Once again, EFO... You totally made my night on "Hump" Day!!!! And a special mention for the opening act, "4 Year Bender" . Check 'em out. Local S.F. band. They were great as well. I look forward to hearing you guys with a drummer next time. matte PS - While I'm mentioning S.F. bands... I'll plug the "Prison Whiskey". Fronted by Laurence Scott, formerly of "Laurence Iconoclast" . They rock as well. "alone" was absolutely smokin'. julie got a small standing ovation after the song, and i found it amusing that (at least from where i was sitting), it seemed like everyone standing was male. how amazing must it be to write a song knowing that julie's going to be the one belting it out? their version of "come together" was also pretty slick. sorry i missed you matte, i stopped by the board to say hi to jeff after the show, but you must have stepped away, and we were dashing out to catch a bus. i look forward to checking out your handiwork on archive.org. i'm not sure i can get out of work in time to make the trip to the other bay area shows, but i look forward to hearing from the folks who do. matt ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V7 #21 ****************************
