I have the notations on the setlist that I jotted down (which isn't here right now), but I'm 99% sure the first was Candido and 91% sure that the second was #6 Driver. You're very likely right about Candido; Robbie's said that he only finished writing it in the recording studio. - --n twn ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Dec 2003 20:06:39 +0000 From: "Susan Shepherd" Subject: Re: CD Release Date >From: Nicole TWN >To: edheads@efohio.com >Subject: Re: CD Release Date >Date: Tue, 16 Dec 2003 08:23:06 -0800 > >At 09:39 PM 12/15/2003, you wrote: >>At the Readington, NJ show, which was the first after 'Quick' was >>released, the band mentioned that they were playing 2 songs for the first >>time in concert. I heard it here in Richmond in December before they released Quick. The interesting thing is that Robbie was singing it. They were working it out before they passed the vocals onto Julie. I noticed there is a new EFO concert posting up on the Live Music Archive from a December 6th show at the Milestone Music Room. It looks like there is a version of "This is Me" in the first set of that show. I have not heard the recording yet, but I will be downloading it shortly. For those of you out there that do not know about this music archive, it is an awesome site for not only EFO shows, but also for many other great bands who agree that it's cool to share live music. Other notables on the site are Jason Miraz, Pat McGee, Everything, Fighting Gravity, Emmet Swimming, Virginia Coalition and others. I only wish with there were some Lowen & Navarro shows out there too... None the less, the tracks on the Live Music Archive are NOT in mp3 format, but are in SHN format, which is a higher quality format than mp3. You need to download a couple of tools from the site in order to download the tracks and convert them so you can listen to them, but it is well worth the effort. There are plenty of instructions in the FAQs on the site to help you download and convert the files. I recommend only downloading if you have high bandwidth, since the files and HUGE. The path to the EFO shows on the music archive is the following: http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=Eddi e%20From%20Ohio Check out the 2003 shows and pick the December 6th show at the bottom. I went to the show Dec 6 in Rochester, and it was a NOISY crowd. (See the recording notes on the archive refereced by Jeff below.) The sound quality of the recordings is not the greatest because of all this background noise, but it's worth a shot. I just converted a prior show from the live music archive (September 03 in Carrboro NC, which I attended) to MP3's. It doesn't have "This is me," but it's got lots of the other new tunes. I'd be happy to share if someone can suggest where I could post the files. - ----- From: JeffreyJonesVA@aol.com TO: , CC: Date: Tue Dec 16, 2003 03:13:38 PM EST Subject: Re: this is me mp3?
