I unfortunately was not able to attend. I got to milestone's just fine, but my boyfriend forgot his ID and they wouldn't let him in, even though he said he was under 21. Was it an over 21 show? because unless it was, I really don't understand why they needed his ID. But needless to say, I very very very sadly missed it. Hope everyone else enjoyed it. :) > > > > > nichole > IM: Poetrygrl8 > "If my soul is a raindrop, i will return to the sea. I then realized that Milestones had booked 3 Speed Metal bands to follow EFO, and all of those fans began to infiltrate the place an hour into EFO's show. None of those people gave a rats ass about EFO, and were quite loud during the last hour of the show. The worst part of the whole thing was during "Little Man", a big fat ass sitting at the bar with a green apple in his hands was yelling, "What are you gonna dream about tonight?!!" every time the chorus came up. He thought that he was the funniest thing since George Bush was "elected" president. Totally disrespectful. We later found out that he was the Manager of Milestones! The same guy who was ingenious enough to book 3 speed metal bands after EFO. So, you wouldn't have been able to enjoy the show if you had to stand in the back where we were, but all in all, it was still an EFO show, and it was worth every penny. To close, they played Milestones for their first time last May, and it was great, because fat ass didn't book any shows afterwords, and it wasn't as packed. This time around wasn't as enjoyable, but only because of the yakking speed metal fans coupled with fat ass' yakking. Don't fret too much. -Walleye PS- Last night in Troy was a GREAT show, but there were also a group of loud people sitting in the back right next to me and my friends. Several people kept turning their heads trying to give them the message, then "1000 hearts" was played, and they kept on yakking. So I got up and kindly asked them to keep it down, which they did. Then at the end of the song, most of them retired to the hallway outside, continuing to yak, but at least they were outside the room. Then most of them left (Thank Heaven). All I'm trying to say is if you go to an EFO show in a small venue, shut your friggin' trap please! Some of us want to hear the music. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? New Yahoo! I think I missed the beginning of this thread, so I'm not sure where the Johnny Cash aspect came in. Ghost Riders was written by Stan Jones. I think Jerry Vale might have done a recording of it, along with many others, including Johnny Cash. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 7 Dec 2003 09:36:47 -0800 (PST) From: nichole Subject: Re: Rochester show No kidding. Luckily we were buying our tickets at the door, so I didn't lose any money. In fact, I managed to save 30 bucks which will come in handy this christmas season. :) nichole "John J. I have seen some other shows at Milestones where I had a similar experience. Unfortunately, that's what you get in a bar sometimes. And there's always falcon ridge. :) only 7 months and 14 days, lol nichole johnathan vienneau wrote: Nichole, Well, You missed a very packed show, but unfortunately, there was a TON of talking and gaggling going on.
