When I first heard it at Falcon Ridge, the swipe actually distracted me as I said, "ooooooooh!" I know only barbershoppers would understand that, so I don't think the band should take the swipe out, but it's just a really neat touch. I know the band loves barbershop as I hear it creep into its songs again and again. :) - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Will Foy" To: Sent: Sunday, September 07, 2003 11:56 PM Subject: Carrboro Artscentre Earl Winn Theatre 9.4.2003 > Helloooo EDHEADS! > > setlist is as follows: > Set I: > This My Town > Stupid American > Quick > Minnesota 1945 > 30 Second Love Affair > Not Enough in the World > The Three Fine Daughters of Farmer Brown > Hail Mary Shy of Redemption > Independence, IN > Horse > One Thousand Sarah's > Set II: > Number Six Driver > Loitering in the Lobby > Eyes of a Painter > Don't Think Twice, It's Alright > Fly > Let's Get Mesolithic > One > No Pain, No Problem > Eddie's Drumpire > Woman of Faith > The Old Dominion > Encore: > Train Song > Walk Humbly, Son > > for those that have never heard how beautiful the artscentre sounds, it's > as quiet as a mouse during the songs [ except where boisterosity is > needed/requested ], and good applause between. just a good good room for > EFO in the Triangle. We're getting there the Saturday before the cruise because we've never been to N'awlins (and I'm looking at places to stay now - ouch!). Needless to say we'll be at the Wednesday night show - maybe we can meet up in a bar nearby first? Kerry JRaimo007@aol.com wrote: > Are there any repeat EFO cruisers on the list? My first recommendation for a fun lunch would either be Central Grocery (home of the muffalata - a flat and round sub) or Napoleon House on Bourbon St. - wonderful sandwiches and (long ago) a great self-serve record player. My flight arrives around Noon Wednesday, so I may just meet all for a hurricane before the show. What's scary is that you can drink on the street in N.O.. Streetside bars and go-cups are common. It's fun in small doses! I can't wait!!!! See you soon . . . . Actually it's just me this time. My wife Janice won't be able to make it. She's a school teacher. It was tough enough justifying 2 days off. Now she would need 3-4 days off not to mention she's going to a teachers convention the week following the cruise in San Francisco where she will need time off as well. ========== Stuart JRaimo007@aol.com wrote: >Are there any repeat EFO cruisers on the list?
