Any advice on which one would be the best first purchase? =) Thanks! ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 15 Aug 2003 10:54:17 -0400 From: "Gene Frey" Subject: Re: Lucy Kaplansky >I have only heard Lucy as part of Cry Cry Cry (whom I adore), and am >looking to buy one of her solo CDs. Any advice on which one would be the >best first purchase? =) Ten Year Night would be first, then Every Single Day. If you get a chance to see Lucy when she performs with Richard Shindell (they usually do split bills) they are amazing together. I don't know where you are from, but they are doing some shows together in the East in the fall. We're going to the Peekskill, NY show on Nov. 1. We saw EFO with the Nields there a while ago. I haven't posted here in like a billion years... I'm looking for EFO lyrics. I'm pretty sure there are a couple of pages out there with lyrics, but I can't find the links. If anyone can send them to me I'd be really greatful!! I'm teaching a creative writing class and I'm wanting to do an activity with song lyrics as poetry...and I thought it would be fun to use a couple of songs from my favorite band! :-) The main songs that I'm looking for are Candido and America, In Paradise, and Woman of Faith.
