Favorite Moment - I guess, as odd as this may sound, it would be Eddie, Bob and I wandering around for over an hour, up and down the hill, looking for Camp Edhead, only to realize that it wasn't that far from Harvey in the first place. We sure were glad there were still a few people awake when we arrived around 3:00 AM. We must have looked like the Three Stooges. ~~~i -still- can't believe they wouldn't let y'all wake me up...it's not like i'd turned in -that- much earlier *g*. also, i shoulda told y'all where it was in case of potential visitations. oh. and ya didn't look like the Three Stooges; kerry snapped a photo to show us for proof ;) and i got a guest book now to get ya to retroactively sign.... Other favorite moment - Mike bringing his son and my buddy, James, on stage to sing "you are my sunshine" that was awesome! that was -too- precious. it exceeded the cute quotient even MORE than pete and maura and chris and meredith thompson on the stage together friday night. 3. I Keep My Lamp Burning - The Neilds during the Gospel Wake up. Very cool. they did that again full band sunday night mainstage. and i have been earwormed with it ALL DAY LONG. bitches ;P 4. & 5. Favorite workshop and favorite pariticipation - That was the Best Gospel Workshop I've heard in four years. Maybe it's because all the artists scheduled had something to do with the Northern Virginia area! :) agreed. i said to everyone that i think that is the best gospel wake-up call i have -ever- seen there{yes, fruhead pals, even MORESO than 2000 with fruvous, EFO, the mields and ruthie foster...sorry...} it was great, rockin, lotsa fun.....and not one act that i was like 'oh...they'll be over soon and people i like better will be singin...' all in all, this was a great fest. yay 15th anniversary of FRFF. yay Camp Edhead!!! yay lotsa more things i'll write about later. but for now, yay sleep after getting -home- to mom's at 4am on monday and getting UP at 4:30am to leave to come back down to work today{tuesday} FRFF......it only comes but once a year........ shell queen of camp edhead{or so i'm told...not to be confused with 'mary queen of arkansas' *g* } ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Jul 2003 09:02:27 -0400 From: Ellen Buckley Subject: Re: A Few Camp Edhead Photos On Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at 11:39 PM, Stuart Jewell wrote: > http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/smjewell2001 i got a rock. was anyone else able to look at stuart's photos? i just got "this album is currently empty." peace, ellen (has photos... still in camera) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Jul 2003 09:08:06 -0400 From: Scott Stanard Subject: Re: A Few Camp Edhead Photos ditto Ellen Buckley wrote: > On Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at 11:39 PM, Stuart Jewell wrote: > > > http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/smjewell2001 > > i got a rock. > > was anyone else able to look at stuart's photos? i just got "this > album is currently empty." > > peace, > ellen (has photos... still in camera) [demime 0.97c removed an attachment of type text/x-vcard which had a name of sstanard.vcf] ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Jul 2003 09:50:09 -0400 From: "Jamie Barth" Subject: Re: A Few Camp Edhead Photos Me, too. Stuart - thanks for taking the photos. It was great to see you and Janice again. You might want to check again to see that the photos have made it to the album. I've booked my cruise flight with EFO Takes New Orleans pre-cruise option! The thought of running around the Quarter with Mike and Eddie is a bit intimidating, but enticing at the same time.
