She also visited Camp Edhead. It was a pleasure to talk to her as well. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Matthew Velazquez" To: Sent: Tuesday, July 29, 2003 1:24 PM Subject: ASL question > Nobody's asked yet, so I will. I blew it off in favor of Richard Shindell's mainstage set. I had a baaaad feeling that I was going to miss some goooood stuff (with a name like Groove, Stomp and Shout, this workshop was clearly made for me), but... but... but.... well, shit. Richard Shindell lives in Argentina! He doesn't come to my neck of the woods very often. They did not have a schedule yet because Clear Channel had not given them one. I know We're About 9 and Brown Couch are playing the side stage, and I'm assuming Teitur is. The order is a guess in what I think their level of popularity is; that said either Keller or Dar could play second to last. I emailed the band yesterday and got "hopefully, we'll have something soon. Our set is the last one, slated for 9:30." So you can count on efo at 9:30 - anything else is my guess. I think you should get there by 5 at the latest to see Dar. I love it when Robbie or Julie loses it - it's so spontaneous, so real. I was seated after Greg Brown, but when they lit into mesolithic, I had to join the group to stage left, dancing and getting harassed by the crossing guards :-) Great, great show, and a smoking performance by Eddie! Rockin out behind Bob the Soundman on Operator was also a high point! I see they're playing at Vermont art festival (www.vermontartfest.com) in a couple weeks - has anyone been to this show before? dave - -----Original Message----- From: ext Matthew Velazquez [mailto:simplyt@alum.mit.edu] Sent: Tuesday, July 29, 2003 1:25 PM To: edheads@efohio.com Subject: ASL question Nobody's asked yet, so I will.
