Great as always. The new songs sound great (indy, horse, and baltimore on Bob's setlist.) Ring of Fire was a surprise during the encore. The band seemed to have fun on stage. There was an incident of groping between the band, a new nickname was born for the sole edhead who admitted he is going on the next cruise, and Mike recovered from some bad segues (sp?), which Julie had to save. Talked to Julie after the show, and she seemed a little worried about the Toronto gig, with SARs and all. I'm still going, as long as there is a show. I taped the show, but I lost about 30 seconds of the intro and part of Woman of Faith, when a couple decided that the best place for them to stand was where my mic stand and equipment was. A cable was stepped on, and out went the recording. It's not like it was that crowded.. I don't know why people gravitate towards my taping equipment. It's not that sexy. Bob saved the day and asked them to move when he noticed I was having problems. He's da man. I'll probably upload the show to the archive.org etree servers, problems and all. Cheers! Seems like he's becoming more well-loved these days. The fact that mainstream radio was playing his cover of Trent Reznor's "Hurt" for a while proves that. Instead of a Beatles tribute at FRFF again this year (Which I don't mind, don't get me wrong), how about a tribute to Mr. Cash? - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ellen Buckley" To: "Ed Heads" Sent: Thursday, May 29, 2003 9:29 AM Subject: Re: Rochester show > On Thursday, May 29, 2003, at 09:15 AM, John Ryan wrote: > > > What is Ring of Fire? > > ahh, young grasshopper.
