The opening act was a guitarist from Australia, Jeff Lang. I thought he was cool. I picked up a couple of CD's and a DVD of his. Good stuff. He's coming back to the area next Friday (Feb 28th). He'll be headlining at the Uncommon Coffeehouse 1st Parish Church in Framingham, MA. I'll be there. I'm just posting in the event that some edheads were at the Wachusett show and remember (and liked) him and his crazy guitar work. That's all. Thanks for your patience. - Jim Raimo ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 Feb 2003 12:56:21 -0800 From: Nicole the Wonder Nerd Subject: Re: literary references Suzie Tee wrote: > >discussion about the band and their fondness for John Irving's book 'A > >Prayer for Owen Meany'. Am I imagining this? IIRC, all four have read and enjoyed it, with Julie harboring a particular fondness for it and the Irving oeuvre in general. Just my thoughts. Anybody know when Robbie (or anyother EFO subset) will be playing at Jammin Java in Vienna???? Last concert was awesome, and I am going to have to miss some of the next local concerts -- DC and Ch'ville :( and am going into "live" withdrawal yet again (despite the arrival of 3 rooms - my husband and i "fight" over who gets which disc for our commutes) ......
