Even ignoring text-browsers and flash incompatabilities, having the list of upcoming shows inside a flash table makes it impossible to search for shows in my state without eyeballing it. And if a decision is made to move from real-audio - please don't choose something else thats worse. (WMA for instance). As bad as Real is, at least linux and mac people can play it. Obviously, the best would be mp3, but I can understand why artists might be afraid of the format. But since EFO has such an open board-taping policy, I can't imagine a mp3 of 1 or 2 songs would be an issue for them. t > As long as we're providing feedback for the new site... > > First off, the site *looks* great. I would also add that web design firms that still use Flash are (1) not with the times, (2) not in touch with what web users like, and (3) totally cheeseball!! I agree, and not just because Mozilla/Flash 5, on my box at least, can't make heads or tails out of the site. (Flash 6 is finally out for Linux; I'm working on upgrading.) Certainly (IMHO) the web designers should have plain-text content available as well. - --nicole twn *** "All along the untrodden paths of the future, I can see the footprints of an unseen hand."--Sir Boyle Roche, 18-century member of Parliament Visit www.nicolopolis.com ... digital nonsense for a weary world. ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V6 #13 ****************************
