As for the guitar lyric question: There's the line about *and the Martins are cheaper* from the great Dave Carter's song "Cowboy Singer," on the Tanglewood Tree album. Then there's Lucy K's song "End of The Day," from Ten Year Night. It contains the line *I used to hear him sing in a Bleeker Street Bar, on that tine stage with a borrowed guitar.* And finally, Sarah Hickman has a song called Aurora on her album Shortstop. It's about her work in music therapy, and in it she describes playing and singing for a woman who's suffered a stroke and can no longer speak. Early in the song she says *I check my guitar-is it in tune?* Take care all.
