Wade Minter" Subject: EFO rocks Carrboro The show last night at the Carrboro ArtsCenter was mighty indeed. The band was in fine form as Robbie was showing off his boy band moves, "Tommy The Canexican" paused several times while Mike cracked the rest of the band up, and Julie continued her streak of getting on the guitar. I didn't have anything to write on, but memory tells me that the setlist included, among others: * Jack Can't Cook * Fruited Plain * Jerusalem * Tommy The Canexican * 1,000 Sarahs * Quick * Simile Song * Farewell To Saint Dolores * Operator * Great Day * She's Hot To Go * When I Cross Over Jordan (Not sure of the exact title - something like that. A gospel song Mike intro'd) * Old Dominion (not "Old Virginia", as a section of the audience was calling for. ;-) Others who were there can feel free to weigh in on corrections or omissions. I saw a couple of people taping the show. If I could get a copy of it, I'd appreciate it (drop me a line via email). This could technically be considered baby's first concert (http://www.lunenburg.org/baby/), so I'd like to have it to keep. - --Wade - -- If you have a VCR or MP3 player, you need to read these links: http://www.digitalconsumer.org/ http://digitalspeech.org/ http://www.libertyboard.org/ ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 15 Nov 2002 12:10:45 -0500 From: "F. My six year-old son was so disappointed they did not include "Operator" in Winston-Salem last month so the band obliged by including for Carrboro - what great folks they are! I, too, would love to get a copy of last night's show, if someone would be so kind as to get in touch with me. Thanks! Gary "H.
