I've seen him many times before and he (and the E Street Band) are the best. I saw Bonnie Raitt and Lyle Lovett last week... what a great show!! Also saw Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. EFO PLEASE COME TO ROCHESTER NY!! General admission for the floor space? > People have been camping since the night before for that! I can into NYC > the morning of the Springsteen show there and the line was already around > the entire city block. I'm curious, just HOW early have people started > camping out to get those front row spots? When I went online to try to get a ticket, I noticed that the floor was general admission and immediately realized I wanted no part of that zoo. I went for the sides. What a mess. Do they have chairs down there or is it SRO? I know that it was probably done to stop people, especially brokers, from selling really good seats up front. With GA on the floor, no one can sell a seat in the front section, because there ain't none. Springsteen's apparent desire to eliminate resale is somewhat annoying to me. If there's a market, why should he care. Two years ago a couple friends of mine paid $2,500 for two floor seats, front row, right in front of Bruce's mic. They bought them on Ebay at a charity auction. The seats were donated to the charity by Bruce. That Bruce would donate front row tickets to a charity, knowing that they'd be sold at a huge price, struck me as a bid hypocritical even if the money was going to charity. ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V5 #189 *****************************
