WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!?!? ;) wolf trap allows dancing in the filene center. i've danced at other shows there. how could y'all NOT get up and dance during Eddie's Concubine? with a horn section, even?? i think i was the only person dancing, and i had to slink off to a corner edge of the pavilion to do it. SIGH. get up off yer butts, people! this is EFO, not West Side Story! how can you not dance?? that is all. peace, ellen ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 13:13:40 -0400 From: "Jamie Barth" Subject: Dave Carter Story from his hometown paper www.wumb.org has posted a link to a story about Dave Carter's passing from his hometown paper in Oregon. - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. Oooo! A *horn* section? :) Do tell; this sounds great. And I agree. He who does not get down and skank during Eddie's Concubine should be checked for a pulse. :) - --nicole twn *** "We are all worms, but I do believe that I am a glow-worm."--Winston Churchill Visit www.nicolopolis.com ... digital nonsense for a weary world. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 13:53:21 -0400 (EDT) From: "H. I thought the show at Wolf Trap was really good, but I was hoping that they would be playing older stuff. Don't get me wrong, I don't think they can go wrong with a setlist, but.... they are in their hometown-play more Juggler on his Blades or Actually Not!!!! Hearing Tommy the Canexican and Lets Get Mesolithic with the horn section was awesome. I have found that the Birchmere is where you have to go if you want to hear some of those old-skool songs. I thought that all the added musicians sounded good (especially Mr. Jennings on the ivories!) Well, there are my two cents about the Wolf Trap show. Peace.
