I first saw EFO at Wolftrap in June 1998 when they were on the bill with The Nields and Pat McGee. They piqued my interest that evening and a month later, when I saw them in Richmond at Friday Cheers, I became a rabid edhead! Their set last night seemed way too short, but they left their audience wanting more and more and more. It was evident to me that the energy I feel from an efo show with 600 in the audience is just as strong as an efo show with 6,000 in the audience. I am SO looking forward to next weekend at Falcon Ridge. don dreaming of blue skies (is) where I wanna be -- Regan Don Semmens; Richmond VA; donsem@attbi.com Buy Regan's new CD "Coming or Going?" http://www.cdbaby.com/reganmusic2 Rob Buck Memorial Scholarship Fund http://gottabuck.org/ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 21 Jul 2002 13:45:34 -0400 From: "John Ryan" Subject: EFO Songbooks are done!!! I made 5 EFO songbooks to bring to FRFF. I would have made more, but it took several hours to do each book, and I also don't want to be caught with extra books to bring back unused. 2 of these books are already spoken for, so that just leaves me with three left. I'll be in down in the main stage area for EFO's set so you can find me. I'll be wearing a bright yellow T-shirt with They Might Be Giants on the back, and a snowman on the front. Find me quick, because the books may be gone before you know it! I'm happy with it, just a simple 3-ring binder, and it's about 100 or so pages long with 58 songs. See you all next weekend! ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 21 Jul 2002 15:09:20 -0500 From: "Jen Rueben" Subject: Re: EFO Songbooks are done!!! Does your songbook contain vocal harmonies? The upgrade cycle has started already! :o)# The "songbooks" consist of lyrics and guitar tablature. I'm not nearly ambitious enough to try sorting out the three/four part harmonies for all those songs. I'll leave that to the band. - -T ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V5 #165 *****************************
