["Marli Porth" Subject: Cruise slogan So. People are getting the cruise info packet, cabin assignments, etc., and maybe even getting a head start on packing. I'm gettin' psyched. But I'm thinking that we need... a SLOGAN. I propose the following Edhead cruise slogan: A BAND ON SHIP! I think all of us on the cruise should yell that frequently and loudly. If we all work together on this, people, we should have the boat to ourselves by Saturday. - --nicole twn *** "We are all worms, but I do believe that I am a glow-worm."--Winston Churchill Visit Nicolopolis! http://wwwcsif.cs.ucdavis.edu/~carlsonn nmcarlson@ucdavis.edu ana.ng@tmbg.org carlsonn@seclab.cs.ucdavis.edu ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 6 May 2002 01:22:06 EDT From: Shellyus@aol.com Subject: Re: Cruise slogan ok...i have -yet- to get my packet just coz of the vigilance of UPS and the fact that they wouldn't LISTEN to me when i said 'i work 10am-10pm all week; i cannot BE HERE to sign for the package! then after the final attempt when i went to pick it up at the customer service center, they told me it was open on saturdays. and it wasn't. grrrrrr. it should arrive at my work by tuesday. so they say. if not, it goes back to belair, so i guess i'll be screwed. well not really.... but i digress..... anyhoo...the slogan.... OMG!!!! i LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! man..my cabinmates are -the- coolest chicas on the planet! we might wanna warn the captain, though, before using it,like way-audibly on board *grin* man...i am having packing stress already...aaaccckkk!! shelly {who can't be-LIEVE it's only in, like, 11 days!} ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 06 May 2002 09:11:26 -0400 From: Christopher Moesel Subject: Re: CA Edheads: Fall tour Oh good! I did misunderstand you. I'm very very sorry. I didn't know what DD meant (since I'm not much of a drinker)-- I asked my officemate and he said he thought it meant "Drunk Driver"-- hence my complete misunderstanding. Silly me. So, yes, that is incredibly stupid. What do they expect-- every bar to have a drive through, on private property, specifically for picking up your drunk friends? But if you step on that public sidewalk by mistake, watch out! Yep-- that's just silly. Sorry again for misunderstanding. Thanks for clearing it up! I feel much better now. I couldn't understand how a fellow edhead could feel that way! I'm glad you never did! - -Chris Jessica Brown wrote: > No, no ... I'm very against drunk driving, myself.
