Instrumental ability to drool over. Speaking of Quick, out here in California there is a J.C. Penny's singing commercial playing on the radio. The first couple measures of the commercial are a dead ringer for the first couple measures of Quick. This may be playing in other parts of the country as well. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 1 Apr 2002 21:24:44 -0800 From: "Ron Rosen" Subject: Quick in Commercials? (repost) I'm reposting this because I realized the NoHo title would be somewhat misleading. > > Rushed out and bought Quick, quick. > > Harmonies like no other. They usually play the Iron Horse and fill the venue up in Northampton. I just hope this show at the Calvin is more of a co-billing than an opening for Nickle Creek. [demime could not interpret encoding binary - treating as plain text] Nickel Creek is one of THE break out groups of the year. Last year they were playing small folk venues. This year they are regularly filling 1000 seat venues. They are now represented by the William- Morris agency and are getting between $7500-$10,000 a show. They have a great sound I to see them and EFO on the same bill would be quite a thrill. You all are quite lucky to get see such a show. Paul Brown a.k.a Ned see you cruisers in a couple of months (it's snowing here, AGAIN) > > Anyone going to the Calvin Theater gig?
