Starting with Don't Bother Me from Meet the Beatles. Songs like If I Needed Someone, I Need You, I Want to Tell You, It's All Too Much, Only a Northern Song, Taxman, You Like Me Too Much, Think for Yourself, Here Comes the Sun, Something, While My Guitar Gently Weeps. It is a sad day. Someone on another list posted this poem, which I thought was nice. G eorge, you're gone from us too young E ven now, the news is hard to bear; O ver the years so many of your songs we've sung R ejoicing in your gift of music rare. G race and love shimmered in every line E ach note so clear and polished that it shone H eaven's own music couldn't be more fine A nd now we wake today to find you gone. R est now and for a moment sleep, R eawaken to new life, awaiting there. I ndeed, though our guitars still gently weep, S till we'll see you here, there and everywhere. O n earth a while to lovely music give N ow with your sweet Lord you'll ever live. ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V4 #283 *****************************
