Ok, I've made a cover and tray card for it. I don't know if the email list can handle attachments, so I've put it up on my web site: http://www.magenta.com/~morpheus/efo/efo.htm. I know it is a shot in the dark....but, if anyone has a single ticket they want to sell send me an email. My holiday plans changed and find me in town after all. Would love to catch the show if I can. It's in 32Kbit streaming for modem users and 192Kbit for broadband users. Give a listen. - -----Original Message----- From: Charlotte Shoneman [mailto:lottepossom@hotmail.com] Sent: Sunday, November 18, 2001 12:42 AM To: edheads@efohio.com Subject: charlotte-carrboro finally home (well not quite) and resting from a weekend full of efo... Friday night at the Neighborhood theatre in charlotte rocked! although it was quite amusing to hear my name said so often, and they weren't even talking about me?! it was definatly a riot to hear mike say "c'mon charlotte! lets get mesolithic!!!". Driving in we completely missed the neighborhood theater cause there was a HUGE tour bus outside, we drove passed and then realized that we had passed so we turned around, quite bewildered i might add. But we soon realized from talking with the band that in fact harvey the rv was not sick, but simply on maternity leave. The show rocked! mike had a posse, who randomly dissapeared, quite possibly a figment of his imagination. It was great to hear "full of herself" as well as all the usual songs like omar, quick, oh my brother, monotony, hey little man, best of me, loitering in the lobby (where julie forgot the words). And a little tip from mike, "never try to rhyme promise with amish". The show was one of the more amusing ones i have been to, there were sly remarks made about harry potter, and mike and HIS wizard hat, or broomstick, whichever the case may be..... Also we got to sing the "bob the soundman" jingle, based on the bob the builder jingle from a nickelodean kids program i think julie said. Bob the builder was who Liam was for halloween after the show we got the grand tour of the bus, it is incredibly swanky, two tv's with dvd players and dss satellite, as well as 12 bunks, and a room in the back which looks like its only use is drugs and porn. After getting out of there, we got on the road to chapel hill, a tiring drive, which i didn't do, rhiannon did it, bless her heart :) And then today, hanging around chapel hill, we found a bob the builder puzzle, and picked it up for liam, it is oh so cute, and the picture of Bob in the puzzle very much resembles the picture of Liam all dressed up. While in line at the artscenter, getting very excited, Julie came out and asked for out help with merch and things, so we delivered her present, and went and set up merch. The show tonight also rocked! the crowd in Carrboro is so enthusiastic!!! Julie had to stop during the beginning of old dominion and tell people they were quite premature for making the mountains erode.... during the show they pulled out a couple classics like "Santa Margherita" and "Bowling in the Hills". And one of the main highlights was hearing their friend Patrick something (don't remember the last name) on piano/keyboard during oh my brother, it was very moving, as if the song isn't moving enough by itself, this version was stunning, very stunning. During the show Mike forced people to applaud for us, though i think it was mostly my mother and tish clapping :) but it was still very sweet. Merchandise was fun, sold lots of the relief cd's, stayed late and packed up, and now we are post ice cream, pre meteor chilling, and headed towards bed.... hope you all had as much fun this past weekend as we did! Yay EFO!!!
