One slight correction to this part: > They thank us all for coming there to see them > instead of going to The National Theatre for that - -other- >show{The Vagina Monologues was playing} and > Mike says that he heard that The National is a dump > anyhow. I believe Mike's exact words in reference to the show and theatre were: "I hear that's a hole" Get it? ;-) Classic Clem! Anyway - One note about 1000 Sarahs is that they played a very long jam in the middle with both the Jo(h)ns playing great parts. I especially liked John Jenning's "crunchy" electric guitar parts. Wow - what a totally new version! Too bad these guys aren't out there every night! I am curious to know if anyone that went on the cruise last year was in a cabin with 4 people? If so , I'd like to know if you felt that the size of the cabin was okay for 4 people? We are considering going on the cruise with another couple. If the cabin size is okay then we might share a cabin with them to save some money. But if they are too small to be comfortable, I'd just as soon get our own. Thanks, Paul ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 6 Nov 2001 17:43:24 -0800 (PST) From: Nicole Carlson Subject: EFO: OT: Hey, frequent fliers? Hi everyone I finally registered for the cruise! Hooray etc. Now I'm up against a question I've never really found a good answer for, so I put it to you: What's the best strategy for getting the cheapest airfare? Buy it 6 months in advance (i.e. now) or hope for a fare sale before May? I've heard conflicting advice from all fronts. Your input is appreciated. - --nicole twn *** "I try to let the river flow in and out of me, and pray I float the way I think I want... and pray I float at all."--Guster Visit Nicolopolis! http://wwwcsif.cs.ucdavis.edu/~carlsonn nmcarlson@ucdavis.edu ana.ng@tmbg.org carlsonn@seclab.cs.ucdavis.edu ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V4 #268 *****************************
