If you don't have a lot of memory, it might be hard to play, as it is for me, but you'll get the idea. If you have memory or a fast connection you will get the full effect. http://www.floridastuff.com/events/wtc.htm ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Sep 2001 19:10:27 EDT From: PeanutBC@aol.com Subject: Re: I apologize...maybe tricky questions... 5> imagine me 4> one 3> oh my brother (especially now) 2> 5th of july 1> 3 fine daughters of farmer brown of course, ill think about this in an hour and realize that's all wrong. oh well. julian (~);) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Sep 2001 19:42:55 EDT From: Shellyus@aol.com Subject: Re: Top 5 Live and Top 5 on CD... damn!!!! only -five- songs people???? surely you jest!!!!!! anyhoo...i'll attempt it, however, i shall combine not -only- the top 5 CD -and- Live format, BUT also the carey format of fave robbie solo stuff{what can i say...i want it -all- *grin*} note: this is -not- a highest to lowest rating scale..heeheee TOP 5 LIVE FAVES 1. They haven't and don't change. But as new CDs come ... some get added. 1. Sahara. This is easily one of my favorite songs ever. I love it live. i honestly can't express how powerful this song is for me. I'm not really sure why either. 2. from Dacca. Dude, I _know_ the feeling of marveling at the microwave and wanting to go back to the home that you've adopted. 3. Moons of Jupiter - Finals never officially start until I play this song. Then I study. 4. Santa Margharita. I don't understand hurting people and i don't understand why people can't realize the organic wholeness of the world. This song always really spoke to that for me. 5. Under David's Feet . One of the first songs I ever heard them play ... I had this boyfriend and ... yeah ... anyway... I like the slow, early, soft ones, I guess... :) Now songs that I play all the time to get pumped up ... that's a totally different story. And then live songs, favorite banter ( I will NEVER forget this show at a unitarian church in New Jersey where there were all these huge relgious symbols on the walls and Mike started comparing them to Nabisco and GE logos.) and favorite songs to play for newbies ... Favorite song to play in Ghana, as an exchange student? Well duh ... you could hear "Stupid American" all over the dorm. ;) Jess, who thinks that it's time to pop in Quick and dance a bit. ===== ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. Julie's voice gives me goosebumps, and I can't wait to someday sing that to my own little boy. Hell, I sing it to my cat right now. I'm a Liamhead alll the way. :-) and the boston folkfest show rocked. I've got pics.. I'll post some soon. - -erika ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Sep 2001 22:39:05 -0500 From: "Rob Sullivan" Subject: RE: I apologize...maybe In no particular order: 1) Continents of Time 2) Sahara 3) Gravity 4) Bookends 5) Full of Herself Also, Julie and the band singing Over the Rainbow (recorded live on DAT and video at the Park West in Chicago 6/30/01)--perhaps the most incredible live performance I've ever seen. Absolutely amazing. ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V4 #226 *****************************
