If possible, send it to the attention of the Program Director or Morning Show Personality / Producer. Many radio stations are programming their mornings devoted to the events of the last week some are already playing it. If anything, at least the MP3's are available for you. Thanks and God Bless America. - Jim Raimo ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 16 Sep 2001 17:42:23 -0400 From: "RB Mays" Subject: Radio Station Songs Hey Now! Thanks Jim. I think we all are in need of something else to focus on for a while. I'm gonna call WKOC FM in Cheasapeake, Va. We heard EFO for the first time on their Sunday a.m. show so I know they have the song already....Be Still. I don't know how it is for the rest of you edheads, but here's how it is for the ones in MD/DC/VA: I live on the north side of Baltimore. I spent this weekend with a friend of mine in Manassas, VA, about 90 miles away. I spent most of the drive down Saturday near tears, because people had put American flags, or signs reading "God Bless America" or similar, on every highway overpass on the Baltimore beltway, I-95, and the DC beltway. Every single one. I though that was extraordinary. - -T ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 16 Sep 2001 18:57:33 -0700 (PDT) From: "orangesodaedhead@excite.com" Subject: Re: I find this really neat. yeah, people have also put them on their cars, on their houses, practically everywhere you can imagine. the flag shop off of rt. 50 "Alamo Flags" has had a line about a mile long every day since tuesday. it is pretty cool. If you had said this 2 weeks ago, what would they have said about you? Interesting thought. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 16 Sep 2001 19:42:29 -0700 From: "Ron Rosen" Subject: Banned Songs Those of you in the Thought Police will find the following encouraging. Others of you might find it troubling: "In response to Tuesday's terrorist attacks, Clear Channel, the world's largest radio network, has sent out a list of some 150 "lyrically questionable" songs by everyone from the Animals to the Zombies to its radio stations, recommending that the songs not be aired.
