The actual times including introductions (which didn't vary too significantly and were rarely *long*)... The Nields: 48:48 Dar Williams: 60:54 EFO: 67:30 EFO had the longest set of the day, one of the longest of the festival, went considerably over their 50 minute time slot, and generally blew the crowd away! It's okay... Dar's sets seem to last forever to me too. *duck* - - Jason ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Aug 2001 07:05:45 EDT From: Shellyus@aol.com Subject: Time is Relative{WAS Tommy and FRFF and such} Jason wrote: Proving once again that time is relative...The actual times including introductions (which didn't vary too significantly and were rarely *long*)... Maybe Fruvous seemed to last longer last year coz of dear Mr. Ghomeshi's 'points'. :) <*ducks* this time> :) Shelly ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Aug 2001 11:51:52 +0000 From: "Carey Farrell" Subject: Re: Tommy and FRFF and such Shelly wrote: >greetings fellow Edheads!!! i am new to the flock and have come to you by >way of Fr|headism...please be kind :) ...and I could probably say the same thing. I also just joined the Edhead list, as part of the growing movement of Fruheads-becoming-Edheads. So, um, hi. :) I was also disappointed that EFO's time got cut short at FRFF, but I think I was pacified with their geat performance Sunday morning at the Gospel Wake-Up Call. Great Day never fails to cheer me up. I'll be with Shelly at Robbie's solo shows tonight, barring any unforseen disasters (like getting hopelessly lost in Virginia for 3 hours...not that that's ever happened to us :) ). Looking forward to playing on the list and getting to know some other EFO fans!
