Four people in a 4A cabin will run us $364 apiece, plus of course the $94 port tax, etc. We are friendly and we promise not to snore. I just happened to listen to 5 minutes Tuesday while driving to Blockbuster and 5 minutes yesterday taking the movie back so I missed a lot of the context. But hey, it was good to at least hear EFO mentioned on the radio. I just wanted to make sure they weren't dissing "Mesolithic". ;) Steve >From: Paul Sabourin >To: "steve roane" >CC: edheads@efohio.com >Subject: Re: EFO vs the Sports Junkies >Date: Wed, 08 Aug 2001 23:30:01 -0400 > >>I was wondering if anyone out there listens to the Sports Junkies radio >>show. I was at Falcon Ridge speaking to both Mike and Tom, and got the clear message that Tommy the Canexican is a FICTIONAL character, and the lyrics do not represent Tom Landa, other than their Canadian/Mexican heritage. Peace, Wazzy ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Aug 2001 00:09:12 -0400 From: rhiannon richard Subject: tommy and falcon ridge Right. I always (always being since i first heard the song, of course) figured that it wasn't truly *about* Tom Landa. I mean, it wouldn't be nice of Mike to speak that way about a friend. But it seemed more like a fun song based on Tom and his situation...using his name... talking about the band that he is in...etc.... So though the lyrics aren't about tom *and* true, i think that the song still counts as being about tom. But i dunno. just wanted to say that i had a great time at falcon ridge. i didn't get to meet any efo listers, which is too bad. i got to speak briefly to julie and robbie, but i only vaguely got to wave at eddie, and didn't talk to mike at all. sad sad. I do think that i prefer EFO going on during the day. I was so tired by the end of that night that i didn't enjoy it as much as i know i could have. And i must say... I really did miss seeing Julie's dad doing the farmer brown dance.
