It made the i found the same thing to be true in the rear orchestra (we were on robbie's side. if i knew anything about theater, i could tell you "stage left" or "stage right," but i don't, so... stage robbie). i was pretty disappointed with this, because i generally love everything about wolf trap, but the sound was just not right. it was way too quiet, IMO. for all three bands. peace, ellen (who was really looking forward to a stomp-n-shout kind of night, and finally got it saturday night at FRFF) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Jul 2001 18:52:12 -0400 From: "Liam Sullivan" Subject: Re: FRFF Report >EFO played a nice cover of "It's All Right" (?) during the Nod to Bob >workshop.< The song is "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright." Thanks MJ, I totally blanked on that. >The show could have ended there and no one would have complained< I think a lot of people would have complained, What I was trying to convey was not so much a comment on the curfew problem (which did bug me), but just a compliment to EFO for providing such a beautiful moment for them to walk off stage while the whole hillside sang the chorus of "Candido & America." It was a perfect ending, and everything after that was a bonus. I went camping this weekend with 12 other wild women. I took 'Quick' and one by one, for each woman with a son (over half), played them 'Hey Little Man', on my personal CD player with headphones. And one by one, watched them be amazed. Several wanted to hear more, all asked 'who ARE these guys?'. I got a great photo of one woman doing a truly inspired gospel-ly, revival-y sort of dance, waving her hands in the air, while listening to 'Great Day'. Too much fun!! EFO rules - September 29 can't arrive soon enough!
