That got me to wondering, what are EFO fans' least favorite of their songs? I'm not talking about songs you're ambivalent about - like, for me, "This My Town" because I've heard it so many times in concert - but ones that make you push the "next" button on the CD player. As for myself, I can't think of anything since irodefidohome that I just can't stand, except maybe Bleeker to Broadway. Prior to that...well, I usually skip over the entire middle section of Actually Not, especially Red Footprints. I guess the fact that I've never heard them play any of those songs live either makes it seem like they're not that big with the band either. Thoughts? To me, the song is exactly what the title says it is. I heard it for the first time at the Bryn Mar show (outside of Philly), and Mike introduced it in a way that essentially said (and I'm really paraphrasing here) "We were able to write a few new songs during our rare break...and this is the one that isn't very good." (Was anyone else there that can remember exactly what it was that he said?) ... (Or, wait, maybe it wasn't the Bryn Mar show, maybe it is on live recording that I have from another show???? Regardless...) Live, the song was hysterical and fun, but I really thought they did it more as a joke than as a track that would actually appear on a CD. I heard the joke a couple times, now I just skip over it to the rest of the CD which is brilliant. Just my opinion... One says " I Wanna Be Quick" on the front and the other says "Let's Get Mesolithic" on the front, and they both say Eddie from Ohio on the back (I believe, I've only seen pictures). They are pretty cool looking. If you're gonna be at Wolf Trap they'll be on sale there too!
