It's apparently called "Quick" and there's a picture of the cover and a track listing on the Bulletproof website. The cover looks pretty cool (and adds another color to the EFO CD pantheon - this one is destined to be known as the orange album or possibly the paper airplane CD) but most exciting is that the CD includes at least 3 songs I'd not heard of before - Candito & America, Cantering on Fool, and Tommy the Canexican. Anyone know if they've done these at any recent shows, or are they perhaps saving them for the CD release jam at Wolf Trap? Anyway, Bulletproof says you can pre-order the CD for $15 and get it about a week before the July 17 release date, and that an unspecified number of the first orders will get an EFO autographed copy. Not such a big deal if you can get to one of their shows easily and have them do it there, but for those who don't get to see them live much it might be a neat idea. Cheers, Shawn McCausland ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 1 Jun 2001 06:25:13 -0700 From: "Ron Rosen" Subject: Re: NEW Eddie From Ohio CD now available for Pre-Order > The release date is Tuesday, July 17 but you can get it sooner. > Bulletproofstore.com will ship "Quick" first class US Postage between July > 7th and July 10th, so you will have it before it is available at shows or in > stores! I haven't heard the song, so I don't know what it is about, but this was my first reaction to the title too. Considering the friendship and respect between the bands, it seems entirely possible to me. I hope so. I think a whole song about Tom Landa would be great, because he is not only an amazing musician, but he is an all around great guy.
