She knows I love EFO. Asked if there were any songs I'd recommend for the reception. I know what I had played at my own wedding reception, but they were my favorites and had personal significance (for instance, I'm from Va. but got married in SC, so I wanted "Old Dominion" played when I arrived at the reception). Looking for your thoughts on the best dance-able tunes. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 20 Apr 2001 08:58:03 -0500 From: "Biklen, Andrea" Subject: RE: Polling the EFO audience Well from my own dance-around-the-house-in-my-underwear experience, you can't beat "Rowboat to Rio." But perhaps that's not the kind of dancing you are thinking of. "Atlantic" might be good too. For fast songs, "Eddie's Concubine" and "Let's Get Mesolithic" would give a nice ironic touch to a wedding reception. I'm sure there are more good ones but my CDs are at home. Shawn McCausland ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V4 #77 ****************************
