Who in the Efo camp would I contact about doing a booking in the SE. Is Robbie still doing some or is everything through Flem/Tam? When is the SE tour planned as I'm looking for them to do a show in SC sometime in July, August or as late as September 2001. It would be at the Self Performing Arts Center on Hilton Head Island. I have had requests from friends etc. for them to stop and pay a visit the venue seats 300. Any help would be appreciated. I'm serious no Bull! *actually everyone wants to see Julie! I've spoken with Krista Reymann but she's the FlemTam Agent for the Midwest. Sounds like you need to contact Mike Green (mike@flemtam.com). - --Tom - -----Original Message----- From: Thomas Ehrhardt [mailto:TomE@dec-international.com] Sent: Wednesday, April 11, 2001 2:01 PM To: 'Edheads@Efohio.com' Subject: Anyone know how to book the band for a private show? Microsoft (who I work for) launched their new music site a few days ago where you can listen to just about any type of music. You may not be able to play a specific song, but can play songs in the style of an artist or song you choose. Well, anyway I looked up EFO and found them. And they have their music... Check it out: http://music.windowsmedia.msn.com/Artist/?artist=100207 Apparently the site requires Windows Media Player 7 to listen to music. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Apr 2001 15:43:12 -0500 From: Thomas Palmer Subject: RE: EFO on MSN.com Cool, I just tried the link and received the following message: We're Sorry, but MSN Music is experiencing technical difficulties: An unknown error Occured Maybe I should try a Netscape browser? :-) - --Tom in KC "....Microsoft is a monopoly..." Oh Joy whats next for our little band...efo done by muzak! I really think they should change some of the song titles to better reflect that elevator sound: "hail mary shy of elevation", "number 6 floor" "I think I don't know where I am" "this is my floor" "really fine linens from farmer brown" and finally "loitering in the lobby"...actually they don't need to change that one at all! heehee...anyone come up with others? ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Apr 2001 17:13:18 -0400 From: Thomas Ehrhardt Subject: I was able to get on but.... The band bio is totally screwed-up..it lists Julie as still Julie Murphy and lists the band as being 7 years old (not 10) it doesn't show anything for looking out the fish bowl it stops at Big noise! what is this cheese ball thing anyway...it makes them sound like total folk geeks. yuck Hey Tom Palmer you were lucky it was down! I got to actually see it Peeewww! plus it sends you to bestbuy.com to purchase a cd and doesn't let you pre-listen. it connects you to some similar radio station that may or may not play it... booo :O ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Apr 2001 17:21:07 -0400 From: "Anthony Calabria" Subject: Re: Msn.com does efo songs....what's next! If you don't like reading e-mails from certain people, you can always delete their message *before* reading them. Or, how about block them from your mail, so you don't even have to go through the trouble of deleting the messages? I don't see how what you said has anything to do with you posting to the list and being more "alive". If you don't post to the list, it's because you don't want to - don't blame others!
