Searching through my archives, sure enough, I found it. Done by none other than Carolyn Bragg herself! Here you go: From: EFOcrew@aol.com Date: Sun, 17 Jan 1999 23:06:59 EST To: edheads@efohio.com Subject: EFO: List of covers Well, here it is, the list of covers. It's not complete, though. Please help me fill in the blanks and correct mistakes. I couldn't remember which song was the controversial Paul Simon, no Simon & Garfunkle, no Paul Simon song, so please forgive me if I haven't corrected that. Again, please don't expect EFO to play many of these tunes. Many of them were covers they did years ago, and some were spur of the moment performances. This list is for nostalgic purposes only!! Please write me with any additions/corrections. I've never been to one of their bar shows before, and I can't say I'm terribly impressed. Crowd was talking all night, so it was difficult to hear a lot of their quiet songs. I'd have to say Martyrs is probably the least impressive place I've ever seen them play. I mean, the Palms is practically a shack, but at least it has character. Anyway, just in case one of them happens to read this before tonight's concerts (not bloody likely, but what the heck), there's a few songs that I think they should do more often, since I almost never hear them live. Fly South, Continents Of Time, and Bowling In The Hills come to mind, and Hail Mary Shy Of Redemption would be on the list too if they didn't play it last night. Anyways, the list: Stupid One Hojo's Best (One where I wish I could've heard everything. I imagine the song is better if you can hear all the lyrics.) Lil Imagine Farm Funer (Strange thing. For some reason, just about everyone I saw in the crowd who were paying attention knew all the words and were singing along to this one. Didn't happen on any other song. No idea why this song is special.) Hail Meso (Great song. I'm glad they covered a bunch of the songs on the new album. AFAIK, the only one's I still need to hear now are #6 Driver & Monotony ) Old Dom Town Cleo Quick Sahara (Was Bleeck on setlist) Woman Big Yello NPR Boat Tom B. Bridge Eddie's Irish Dream (Was Operator on setlist) Walkin' In Jerusalem Anyways, pretty good show, got my fix for a full show, would've been better in a theater type space.
