Hey, Looking at EFO's website. It appears that they will be in Chicago on March 30th. However the location is TBA, anyone have any idea where that's going to be? I've seen them 4 times here in Chicago, the shows are great. It's interesting because most of the people at the shows have never heard or seen them before. Then after the show there is like nine billion people at the CD table attempting to buy stuff. It's pretty cool. I listen to lots of CD's at work during the coarse of the day and notice that all my Eddie From Ohio CD's play just fine through my computer's CD player except for "Big Noise". When I plug "Big Noise" in, it simply starts buzzing as it spins and my Windows NT 4.0 CD Player never recognizes it. Strange huh? Anyone else ever have a similar problem? - --Tom **************************************************************************** * Tom Kansas City **************************************************************************** * ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 8 Jan 2001 11:34:02 -0600 From: Thomas Palmer Subject: St. Louis???? Anyone have any info on the night before (March 29th) in St. Louis? Of course that's the same night as Lucy Kaplansky in Lawrence, KS but hey........I think I can miss Lucy for my first EFO show. - --TP >Hey, >Looking at EFO's website. Sometimes their information is more up to date the the EFO website. Just a suggestion. Strange huh? If your setup will read all other music and data CDs, then it's probably not a broken setup. I can think of a few possibilities, some arcane, but none as likely as a damaged CD. Is it all beat up underneath? Try either repairing the CD--Fry's Electronics had a CD polisher last time I was there, and some report success with liquid car wax, though I've never gotten that stunt to work--or making a tape of it, or something. I'm sorry to report that the igenious headblade is much better in theory than in practice. My dad took huge chunks out of his head while using the darn thing!! The poor thing, he was apologizing to ME. Needless to say, he now bears a huge gash above his left ear, which is a constant reminder of his run-in with the headblade. Anyone else have any headblade horror stories?
