Nothing like being under 21 in a room of inebriated adults LOL!! The night started with all the really die-hard fans standing in the freezing cold. Standing, and standing, and standing. There were times that I thought the night would end like that to, but they FINALLY let us in! So then-- we went inside and waited for two hours, and ate more chicken wings then I ever thought humanly possible. It was fun to chat with people though, I saw some familiar faces throughout the crowd. And then DaVinci's Notebook started. As always, they skirted a fine line between "AHAHAHAHAHA!" and "eeeeeeeew....", but I think they came out on the positive side. "Three Little Words", The Meatloaf Parody that EFO joined in on, had be rolling, and "Title of the Song" a love-ballad for absolutely hysterical. Then there was some more waiting. I ordered another Shirley Temple, and felt like a big underage geek, as everyone around me consummed more alcohol lol! Then EFO started. They were great. Blah blah ;-) They did a lot of covers, and a lot of new stuff, and really cut back on the chit-chat (which made me sad..). Highlights included- watching everyone dance!!! LOL! I have seen EFO almost EXCLUSIVELY at the Birchmere, so seeing them at a location with a dance floor was HYSTERICAL! There were some super-fly white boys gettin' down on the floor ;-) Also, Bookends was great. Bookends is ALWAYS a highlight for me. I really love that song. Um, the impression that two of the guys from DaVinci's Notebook did of Robbie during "Woman of Faith" was absolutely hysterical. And Robbie inviting Julie's husband Greg up for a shot at singing the train-song was another great moment. It was very funny (in a good way.. Not in a "he really sucked" way ;-) Alright, I'm done now! Can't wait to hear what everyone else thought, once they had a few drinks in them.. Hope you all made it home safely, with the help of "1-800-200-TAXI"!
