This was my first show, and I completely loved it. The band was awesome, the venue (The B&A Wherehouse) was really cool, and I was just in an awesome mood. I dragged my cousin who had never heard of the band and I think I've got a convert (she even talked about telling some friends in Atlanta about the band...and was talking about going herself). I hated that we had to leave a little early... Damn eight o'clock classes. I was a little too wrapped up in the music to remember the set list... (If you have one I'd LOVE YOU!) I really liked the new stuff. They did about five new songs. Great Day was incredible, "Let's Get Mezolithic" was hilarious, and "1000 Sarahs" is what had my cousin wanting to buy a cd. I'd love to know the name of the song about being single and hating people in relationships... That one's a little too real... :-) You know, I think the overall best thing was being in a room with a group of people that were passionate about one of my favorite bands. I'm not good at keeping secrets and it felt good to share . If you're reading this, it was Berkeley from this list that was at the table tonight wasn't it? It was cool that you got mentioned on stage. I wanted to say something to you, but I didn't want to push things with the relatives... Yes, that was me. Too bad the relatives wouldn't let you stay to say "hi" as I always like meeting other Edheads. Yes, I have last night's set list. I took it right off the stage after the show. Yes, I'll post it along with my review of last night's & tonight's shows. With that I should also post tonight's setlist. There will be a different set list to be sure. If that was your first show, it was a great one to attend. Tonight will be a good follow-up. Speaking of tonight, you should come (afterall, it's the weekend). If you can get away early enough all Edheads are invited to join for dinner before the show at 6:30PM at the Variety Playhouse. From there we will walk down to The Vortex. Any band member that joins us is getting treated to dinner. "Y'all Come!" So, until tonight... Have Fun, Berkeley (who is no longer the only Edhead originally from Mississippi) On Thu, 7 Dec 2000 23:59:54 -0600 corbe001 writes: > Oh my goodness!
