[Thomas Ehrhardt Subject: Al Gore [ a little off topic and a little out to lunch] Wow ... And I thought things were wierd here. They're having an election this week in Ghana and everyone I've talked to talks more about the non-existent American president than their own. Somebody made a good point yesterday, which I had no rebuttal to, given all the problems the US is having with their own elction will they stop monitoring other countries election? Food for thought, I suppose. The true question that comes up though is "Tom, why were you watching Sesame Street and not the Teletubbies?" I don't think the teletubbies would soil their message of babytalk and fun with something as sortid as _politics_. :> j/k Happy begginning of the generic holiday season, everyone. It's Farmer's day in Ghana today so everything is closed. I've been playing three fine daughters very loudly in my dorm room in celebration. ;> - -Jess ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: I think I saw Al Gore... Yeah, they had to cancel all of their southern shows for personal reasons. Sad, indeed. BUT, I'm slightly comforted by the fact that I get to see EFO next weekend in Asheville. I was, however, looking forward to seeing Josh Lamkin (if any of you are ever in asheville, check him out...he's good, and just starting out) tonight, nields tomorrow, efo with beth wood next weekend.
