Who has traveled the farthest to see the band? Who has seen them in the most states? At the most different venues? I know I'm not the leader in any of these stats (by far), but I've got: 2.5 - 3 hours 4 states (VA, CO, IN, IL) soon to add NC 12 venues (that doesn't include all of the different owners of South Main Cafe) How are everybody else's numbers? Maybe we could talk the band into giving a prize for the most devoted Edhead (you listening out there, Mike?). The longest 'road' trip was 9 hours (from my new home in OH back to NC), and the longest total trip was from Raleigh to Seattle. Was going to visit Seattle anyway, so I thought why not arrange it around an EFO show? It's funny, because I just was talking to Mike after the show at the Black Swamp Festival this weekend and he remembered that he saw me in Seattle and at several other far-flung venues. The venues I can remember for now: Ram's Head -- Annapolis, MD The Birchmere -- Arlington, VA Port O'Call -- Kill Devil Hills, NC Lake Boone Country Club -- Raleigh, NC Berkeley Cafe -- Raleigh, NC Carrboro Arts Center -- Carrboro, NC Ziggy's -- Winston Salem, NC Tractor Tavern -- Seattle, WA Black Swamp Arts Festival -- Bowling Green, OH __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? So, I doubt I have any catagories wrapped up...but not bad for a 19 year old, i suppose!!! - -rhiannon At 03:40 PM 9/11/00 -0400, you wrote: >How are everybody else's numbers? I forgot to actually post the venues! And seeing as how gary and i have ended up at several of the same shows, i thought some of the rest of you might have met me too. Ziggy's By The Sea -- Atlantic Beach, NC Grey Eagle -- Asheville, NC Ziggy's -- Winston-Salem, NC Carrboro Arts Center -- Carrboro/Chapel Hill, NC Skylight Exchange (robbie solo) -- Chapel Hill, NC Falcon Ridge Folk Fest. -- Hillsdale, NY The Pit -- Kill Devil Hills, NC ooooh. And while I'm posting, I thought that you guys might find this little adventure to be interesting. I was at an Ani concert at the ritz in raleigh last night, and while I was walking back from the will call line, somebody tapped me on my shoulder. It turned out to be the girl that I sold merch with at the Pit show! I've only met her twice, and the pit and the ritz which are about 5 hours apart. It was so weird!!! - -rhiannon At 02:32 PM 9/11/00 -0700, you wrote: >The venues I can remember for now: > >Ram's Head -- Annapolis, MD >The Birchmere -- Arlington, VA >Port O'Call -- Kill Devil Hills, NC >Lake Boone Country Club -- Raleigh, NC >Berkeley Cafe -- Raleigh, NC >Carrboro Arts Center -- Carrboro, NC >Ziggy's -- Winston Salem, NC >Tractor Tavern -- Seattle, WA >Black Swamp Arts Festival -- Bowling Green, OH > >__________________________________________________ >Do You Yahoo!? >Yahoo! I wonder if these Edheads have ever been on any other mailing list in their lives...the amount of messages here is barely anything compared to most lists! I, for one, love it when this list is "active".
