But I did have a question about the list - are the messages archived anywhere? Has the owner of the list (whoever it is) thought about moving this to another forum like egroups or something? Some of the things I like about the groups there are that you can read messages on the web and you don't have to get them delivered to your mail box. That way if you need to go out of town, you can prevent your mail from getting flooded but you still don't have to unsubscribe. Granted this isn't a very high traffic list, but I thought it's something to consider. Any thoughts? Hi, I'm relatively new to the list (just discovering EFO, truthfully...I'm still learning :-) Personally, I like egroups (except for the ads and the occasional delays). I especially like the fact that they put a list name in each subject line so you can filter mail. Not that I don't love reading edheads, but I like to keep my inbox strictly for personal mail, ifyouknowhatimean ;-) Anyway, that's my input on that, Kim :-) Dawn F wrote: > Has the owner of the list (whoever it is) thought about moving this to another forum like egroups or something? ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 18 Aug 2000 10:36:28 -0400 From: "Scott Sciarrino" Subject: RE: unsubscribe - no, i don't want to... That's what I do to send all my edheads mail to my "efo" folder I created. I'm on so many lists that it makes it easier when the messages from diff. lists get send to the correct folder. Hope that helps. Egroups I'm not wild about; I'm on another egroups list and *I* think the ads are annoying, especially when people reply to messages and forget to strip out the ads. You end up with several ads piled up. I think there's a way to turn them off, though - depends on the settings the owner chooses. If not with egroups, I know that there are other list services out there where the ads are optional. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V3 #101 *****************************
