I don't get to see EFO live for the first time until September. So it's driving me crazy not being able to put names with faces! Can you serious long-time fans fill me in on who is saying what during the between-song banter on this live CD? Okay, Julie I can figure out. But I'm having trouble telling Michael from Robbie from Eddie when they're speaking. Specifically, who does the rhyming introductions of the band members? (ie: "...he plays with power, he wears the same shoes they wore on the Mayflower"....). Any other clarifications anyone can supply would be appreciated - feel free to e-mail me apart from the list, I don't want to bore the others! Thanks in advance, Suzie Tee ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 12 Jun 2000 18:05:35 -0700 (PDT) From: "Jess." Subject: Re: Portable EFO Show If I remember correctly, Mike does *most* but not all of the banter. Eddie is limited to saying thanks at one point. Mike is the one that makes that crack at the beginning about Eddie looking like Lenin the communist revolutionary and also the comments about Robbie's pilgrim shoes. (side note - there is a picture of the aforementioned pilgrim shoes on the inside of cover) Robbie says the stuff about being in California and finding the anti-smoking laws wierd, and also the banter in front of "If I had a boat" (a hint is that he mentions his two sons at home -- Mike has one). Mike says the stuff about Julie finding a great guy before "james Bond". And in the banter during the train song, that is all Mike *except* the part about having more hair in his sideburns than I do on my head. (Another hint - Robbie is VERY bald-- except when he was in Seattle he hadn't been able to cut it for awhile so he had this cool fringe growing in, I'm sure it's gone now.) Anyway, I'm sure I've forgotten some of the banter ... anyone else want to fill in? : > I'm suffering, yes, suffering through finals right now. One week more and I can leave Orange County FOREVER!!!! HA HA HA HA .... whew. I need to sleep.
